Jon Sharp has over 30 years’experience in the hospitality industry. After graduating from Catering college in 1988, Jon started his careerwith Scottish & Newcastle Brewery before moving on to Greenall’s brewery as an area manager for Franchised pubs and restaurants. Jon has been a passionate advocate for customer service teaching workshops for the last 20 years.
Prior to joining Hilton Worldwide, Jon started his own restaurant company before takingthe role of Head of F&B for Travelodge Hotels, where he was responsible for overseeingtheir expansion from 50 to 150 hotel restaurants in just four years. Jon Sharp has receivedthe ‘Employee of the Year’accolade from two companies.
Jon’s journey at Hilton started eight years ago as Director of F&B UK, and within one yeartook on the newly created role of Director Product Management EMEA & APAC beforesolely looking afterEMEA, where he has been for the last seven years. Jon is responsiblefor the F&B development of two Hilton portfolio brands –‘Hilton Garden Inn’and‘Hampton by Hilton’, incorporating the full hospitality mix.
